I'm super interested in the Anvil. Can you tell me exactly what is controllable via MIDI and if it would work well for extremely heavy metal sounds?

Sorry,
R1 should stay 100k
R2 should be changed to 470k

So there were two errors in my previous post :)

Then the gain will be 20*log(1+(470/100)) = 15,11 dB

"If you keep R1 10k, and change R2 to 47k, the gain will be about 15 dB"

Just re-read your post above:

Do you mean keep R1 100K (not 10K) and change R2 to 47K?

Hi,
You can use the formula: 20*log(1+(R2/R1)).
If you keep R1 10k, and change R2 to 47k, the gain will be about 15 dB :)

Hi steve,
Haven't done anything yet. I still have the idea to build an advanced tremolo, although in a pedal form. Controlling it through IR would be the simplest solution, but why would you? In most studio's and live front-of-houses you would probably stand right next to it :)

I wonder how you went with this. You reckon it would be possible to operate remotely via bluetooth, wifi, or IR. If you had a bunch of presets - the ability to scroll through or key in a number (like tv remote) would be handy for gigs or studio. your vid of the trem ped sounded nice,,,
